Every student at Cal Poly has the right to timely, nutritious food. This page has a great compilation of food resources available to Cal Poly community members!
The Cal Poly Food Pantry in building 27 is open to all students - no questions asked. Cal Poly students who are experiencing food insecurity or instability are welcome to shop at the Food Pantry Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm. The Pantry is open to faculty and staff on Fridays.
The SLO Food Bank's mission is to work with a network of community partners to alleviate hunger in San Luis Obispo County and build a stronger community. Cal Poly hosts a SLO Food Bank Grocery Distribution open to all on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 3:30-5:30pm on the Health Center Lawn.
CalFresh is like financial aid for food! The CalFresh Team helps determine if you are eligible for up to $291 per month to spend on groceries and at farmers' markets. Check out these budget and time-friendly recipes from Cal Fresh Healthy Living.
Students can receive funds to assist with meals from various on-campus dining locations.
